Don't let the title fool ya - it's actually only the second installment, but it's
in DailyKos, version 3.0. Haha, laugh laugh...grumble grumble...
For those unfamiliar with my previous My Late Night Keep Me Company Diary, basically I'm working an overnight shift right now - 8p-8a and my reception area just emptied out. So it's probably going to be an uneventful 6 hours through the early morning where I do nothing but browse the blogs for breaking news, interesting comentary, etc. The same stuff you're probably doing right now.
More on the hump....
So here I am presenting you a late night opportunity to both keep me company, meet "this" Kossack, as well as any others, and have a chance to share any information you might want to share in an environment where you don't have to worry about a repeat diary, or a more interesting diary coming down the list.
Feel free to talk about whatever you want be it your profession, Rove's Rants today, share your own blog or website or just talk about whatever you want.
Consider it an open thread.
For my own interjection of commentary, I give you two gifts. The first is this: Although initially, like many of you I was offended and disgusted at what Rove had to say and subsequently, how the right-wing both agreed with it and continued to spin it along. To that end, I offer this - a good hearty chuckle! Ho-ho-ho! Boy, that Rove sure knows how to say something stupid, doesn't he? I sure think he does. Kossacks, do not feel down. This is merely a diversionary tactic to keep other, more important issues in the dark. Issues liek the Downing Street Memo, the UN report that they have proof of torture, Durbin speaking the truth, and the day-to-day picture that the American people are painting of this administration, which is that they are incompetent and the American people are losing touch with reality.
So that was my first. My second is this: On RedState, there is a diary called Did Nancy Pelosi just say... . Here's the content:
that George W. Bush was not leading the country in good faith when he made the decision to go to war?
I submit that
she just did Hat tip: Tim Saler
"The president wanted to go to Iraq in the worst possible way and he did," Pelosi said.
It's one thing for a political advisor to throw red meat to a partisan audience.
It is QUITE ANOTHER for the leader of the Democratic delegation in the House to imply that George W. Bush took the nation to war for other than honorable reasons. Regardless of how you think those reasons did or didn't pan out as justification for going into Iraq, Pelosi is clearly implying that George W. Bush took our nation to war in bad faith.
If so, those are fighting words. Rep Pelosi owes all of us an explanation. If she thinks that President Bush deliberately and knowingly violated his Oath of Office, then we should all sit back and listen to her justify her charge
Imagine what alJazeera is doing with Pelosi's quote as we speak. Something tells me that Durbin just got bumped off the alJazeera lead.
Perhaps Rove is smarter than we all thought. Maybe he realized that the Democratic leadership was afflicted with a political strain of Tourrette's Syndrome. All they needed was a little prodding.
Let's copy down everything the Democrats say. I think an ammo truck has just arrived at the Redstate Ammo Supply Point (ASP).
Ya know...typical RedState garbage ranting. But here's my comment...I hope you like it...
Hmmm.... By: Stand Strong

Yes, I'm sure the quote is being taken full advantage of by Al-Jazeera. Bet the "Rhetoric-cide bombers" are strapping 'quotes' to themselves and detonating venomous verbal bombs on the troops.
C'mon. You almost sound excited.
So this is my new method. I'm just going to laugh at them. The way I see it, everything is starting to crumble for the conservatives and when it's all said and done, who are they going to have to blame? Anyone wanna take a guess?
Or do you want to do like me and just...chuckle?
Hehehe...
